GEICO is looking for a legal receptionist with exceptional organizational and skills for a busy staff counsel office in Baltimore County. The major functions of the job include answering the telephone; greeting outside visitors; opening and distributing incoming mail; responding to telephone requests which have standard answers; entering new cases into the legal management system; assisting in closing files and boxing them for shipment to GEICO's storage facility; assisting with other support level duties as assigned by the managing attorney; and meeting attendance standard. Applicants must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing and speaking; must be able to work both independently and in a team environment; must be able to multi-task; must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information; and must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
