GEICO is seeking a highly motivated Java Software Developer with preferred experience in SAP Callidus Cloud (Workflow / Producer Pro) to assist in the on-going enhancements including configuration, migration and maintenance of the Cloud-based Agent Licensing application. We are looking for a passionate, creative, and technically sound individual to work alongside a dedicated team of developers and analysts to deliver complex and creative solutions. Candidate must excel at working independently as well as part of a team. They must be able to multi-task across multiple projects and provide production support with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
 
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ Years of experience in IT with strong analytical skills
• 2+ Years of experience in Java Development
• 2+ Experience in web-based tools using web services (REST/SOAP)
• 2 + SQL experience querying relational databases and associated coding experience
• Experience with a variety of web development technologies (including design and implementation) such as HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, and XML/XSLT
• Experience with Web Services and APIs
• Strong experience in software development practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations
• Strong critical thinking, decision making, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to provide production support including triaging and fix issues
• Experience integrating Java web applications with SQL databases
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and contribute towards team efforts
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
 
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Callidus ProducerPro or Workflow
• Experience with ETL tools a plus
• Experience with Oracle Database structure a plus
• Experience with sourcing data across multiple platforms (Mainframe, FTP, Data Warehouse, ESB) a plus
• Experience with Data Analysis
