Our Instructional Design and eLearning Internship will provide hands-on experience in a challenging environment. Qualified interns will experience different functions of our Talent Acquisition and Onboarding department. Some of these opportunities include creating and developing interactive e-learning courses and simulations, as well as coding and creating graphics and media design. A combination of your interest and skill set will determine which area is the best fit for you.


As an intern, you will apply your skills in Adobe Creative Suite and other applications to create graphics, animation, audio, video etc. multimedia elements.  You will be responsible for looking creatively at business problems and working on long-term projects throughout the summer. Towards the end of your internship, you will showcase your work to senior management.

During this paid 10-week summer internship based in Washington DC, you will:

·  Work with subject matter experts to design, develop and maintain our e-learning courses

·  Collaborate with others to design and develop storyboards, graphics, media, and interactions

·  Develop engaging multimedia e-learning modules

·  Evaluate and maintain e-learning courses in LMS


Qualifications:

·   Currently pursuing a degree in one of the following fields of study: Instructional Design, Learning Design, Instructional Technology, Game Design, and Graphics Design and other relevant fields of study

·   At least junior status or will be a rising senior during Summer 2020 (i.e. at least graduating by December 2020 or May 2021)

·   Cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least a 3.2 or higher. 

·   Excellent communication, detail-orientation and organizational skills,

·   Proficiency in multiple authoring tools (e.g. Lectora, Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia)

·   Ability to live and work in the Washington DC area this summer
