IT Financial / Planning Systems team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Systems Analyst with diverse skills to join our team for the cloud implementation and on-going enhancements to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Financial, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) applications. The ERP system is critical to GEICO’s financial process which includes but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management Procurement, etc.  The candidate must possess analysis skills to interpret requirements and validate the delivery of the requested functionality. The candidate must possess solid project management skills and be able to effectively manage their own deliverables. In addition, the candidate will triage / track issues and work with the development team to collaborate on solutions to resolve defects and production support issues. Candidate will work with a variety of business users and technical teams throughout the organization.
 
A strong candidate must be able to effectively multi-task. They must possess excellent organizational and people skills as well as demonstrate an appropriate sense of urgency all while performing effectively under pressure. Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks. Must be able to track progress of deliverables and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required along with the ability to effectively communicate with the Management team.
 
General Qualifications:
 
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years as a IT system’s analyst
• Experience with ERP / Financial applications and FP&A applications not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Financial Consolidation, Fixed Assets, Planning/Budgeting etc
• Experience with configuration/analysis of complex systems
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with Agile Scrum and/or Agile Kanban
• Strong analytical skills
• Decision and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
• 1+ years’ experience in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies
• 3+ years’ of experience providing analysis of requirements and testing to support ERP / Financial applications (Preferably Workday Financials)
• 2+ years of experience utilizing MS Excel Data and Statistical Analysis, Pivot Tables, and Power Query. 
• Experience with configuration/analysis of complex systems including SaaS implementations
• Experience with planning, forecasting, and financial modeling using a financial planning tool (Preferably Adaptive Insights)
• Experience with Portfolio Project Management (PPM) solutions
• Knowledge in Business Processes within the Office of Finance is a plus
