The Mainframe Data Archive and Data Sanitization team supports meeting GEICO's data compliance and test data requirements. The team is also responsible for archiving historical data from the mainframe for all applications. The team is seeking a self-motivated ETL Engineer with the right balance of ETL and database experience to join the team. You will be expected to provide programming solutions using ETL Tools and Databases for data sanitization, policy copy and the Mainframe Data Archival project. In addition you will maintain and provide production support (including on-call rotation) for various automated ETL processes integrated with web applications and self-service portals to support copying/masking/searching requirements for GEICO. You will also support the Mainframe Data Archive project envisioned to meet post-mainframe L & R data requirements for GEICO. You will demonstrate strategic and innovative thinking while facilitating a collaborative team oriented environment. You must also exhibit strong critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills. 

    Candidate Qualifications:

• Able to use Test Data Management or ETL tools such as IBM Optim, DMX Syncsort, SSIS or any related ETL tools
• Experience with Database technologies such as SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle
• Experience supporting and analyzing Mainframe based data and applications.
• Process automation experience that includes infrastructure & ETL processes
• Data analysis with ability to write complex SQL statements including XML parsing
• Application development experience on Mainframe
• Application architecting/design/development (Client-Server/Web based technologies) with .NET
• Working in an agile environment
• Windows administration and Scripting (Windows and PowerShell)
• Understanding of Network/Server/Application security/encryption as related to protecting data
